About Target Media Library

Since the mid 1990’s Target Broadcast Advertising has maintained a library of Target commercials. In 1999, high quality video spots began to be distributed to key Target employees on DVD organized and searchable year and category. In 2005, the Target TV Spot Website was established as Target Media Library (TML) to bring this resource to a wider audience. Today there are over 13,000 spots and other assets in the library from the 1970's to the present day searchable by keyword and presented in Standard and Hi-Definition and including TV, Radio, Web, Channel Red, and Mobile assets.

The library serves as a reference tool for Target team members when reviewing, discussing and planning Target marketing and advertising. It allows the Target team to share the company's image and message with vendors and partners in meetings and presentations. An email is sent alerting members when new spots and assets have been posted in TML.
